Halloween Witch Hat Decoration

Halloween Witch
Hat Decoration

Good Morning crafty friends
Amy here with a mid-week challenge inspiration and a fun decoration for Halloween.
A cute Witches Hat

I started out by using a kit for a small hat
And as I was crafting along, everything ended up tossed to the other side of my table.  It wasn't going together right or what I really had in my mind to create.
So all I kept was the shape for the top of the hat.  I then chose some cute paper from my stash and made the rim of the hat.
I used Victorine Originals Halloween kids stamp set and let my son pick which one to use. He chose the reaper kid.

I stamped this image on two different colors of paper and colored them both.
I then fussy cut them out
I did this because I wasnt sure how either of them would look against the colors.
So this way I had more options.
I used my punches and punched out a spooky tree.
I also found some fibers in my stash to go around the bottom.
I added my colored stamp and liked the white color better.
I also punched out a round peice of paper, distressed it to look like the moon and added a bat.
Once everything was done, I arranged everything until it fit.
I also added the sentiment Boo!

Halloween Gift Tags

BOO!
Heather here, it is my turn to take over the blog at Victorine Originals and I decided to try something a bit different, so I made some gift tags using the Halloween Kids stamp set from Victorine Originals.

I started by stamping the pumpkin (twice), the Mummy and Dracula onto some watercolor paper in versafine onyx black ink and then heat setting with clear embossing powder.  I colored them and then fussy cut them out.  I covered Dracula's cape and the pumpkins with a coat of clear glitter pen for some sparkle.  On the pumpkins I also used the Nuvo Glow Drops in Banana Split for the eyes, nose and mouth for some added fun.

For Dracula's tag I took a piece of grey card stock and then used a stencil from my craft room and sponged it with Distress Oxide Ink in Black Soot and then sprinkled some water onto it for some added interest. I put my tag together with some strong adhesive tape and then added a few silver glitter embellies at the top and some orange and black bakers twine. I glued my pumpkin directly to the tag and then I popped up Dracula with some foam tape. I used the Sentiment Happy Halloween form the Halloween Kids Stamp Set from Victorine Originals and cut it apart to make it work when I attached it to a gift card. Here are some close ups of the Dracula tag with the gift card in and out:

For the Mummy card I started with a piece of purple and black card stock paper and used another tree stencil from my crafty stash and again used Distress Oxide Ink in Black Soot.  I assembled my gift tag and added some purple and black bakers twine at the top and some dark purple glitter embellies on the tag, I used the BOO! From Me To You sentiment and glued down the pumpkin, added foam tape to the back of the Mummy and finished off tag 2.

We still have the current Mood Board up for the challenge over at the Victorine Originals Blog and I will put all the links below, please join us and share your crafty projects with us.

Mummy Halloween Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here and today I am back with another adorable Halloween card using Victorine OriginalsHalloween Kids stamp set.
I stamped that cute little mummy on newsprint paper with black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I die cut ovals to create a focal point for it.  They are popped up with foam tape.
In the bottom right corner I stamped a sentiment from the Halloween Kids set and embossed it with white embossing powder.  The last thing I added was enamel dots on the banner.
Here is a full look at that awesome Halloween Kids stamp set:

Testing out some new products

I am so excited to be here with you today! Not only do I get to play with the amazing Victorine Originals and Raisin Boat stamp sets, but today I'm also going to show you some of the awesome other products that have now been added to the online store! As soon as you're done reading this post, head over there and get some - you won't be disappointed!

I had a page kit that I needed to put together, and I knew that these new products were the perfect match.

The first product I used was the Memento Dew Drop 4-pack of Inks. The dew drop shape is so handy for inking all the edges of whatever shape I had. It made quick work of my duck, rain drop and water splatters. I used colors from multiple sets as I like the ink to coordinate with the paper.

When I make a page kit, the layout just looks so much better when I doodle or outline the elements and the pictures.

I think this layout is even one step better because I outlined with the super cool Kirarina Wink Glitter Markers. I think I must have all the colors now!

I went around the edge of the duck, but then I added some squiggles (technical term there) to certain parts to give the duck more life. With the rain drops and splatters, I used multiple colors to make the water "reflect" the duck. I also outlined all the letters in the title and around the pictures.

Can you see (believe) how well these glitter pens do on EVERY color of cardstock and patterned paper I tried? It was amazing! I am totally hooked. Go visit my Halloween Mood Board creation to see how they pop off the page when used on black cardstock - it's amazing! (Link is below)

After assembling my layout, I added one extra perfect product for this layout! To make the water seem more realistic, I used the blue Pearl Pen to put water droplets all over my page! Look closely and you can see some on the water splatters and the duck.

I hope you enjoy this layout as much as I do! May your day be full of crafty goodness!
